The severity of non-planning impulsivity and cannabis use problems in distinguishing patients with synthetic cannabinoid use disorder and cannabis use disorder

Objective: The present study aims to identify whether there is a difference between the synthetic cannabinoid (SC) and cannabis use disorder groups in terms of impulsivity problems arising from substance use, as well determine variables that distinguish SC cases disorder. Method: Fifty-two male patients with 45 who were admitted AMATEM clinic Bakirkoy Mental Neurological Diseases Training Research Hospital included study. participants evaluated using Barrat Impulsiveness Scale (BIS-11), Cannabis Use Problems Identification Test (CUPIT), Adult Questionnaire (CPQ), Withdrawal (CWS). Results: group had higher rates unemployment, suicide, self-mutilation than group. scored significantly those BIS-11, CUPIT, CPQ total score sub-scale scores, CWS score.
